If the CONTROL AUG system is not reset, you may have an unannunciated loss of YDC, ARI, SBI and rudder trim. Some generators may not have sufficient residual voltage to trigger a C AUG caution light following generator reset. DEU, both left MFDs, SADS, VCR/CEU remain powered for 2 minutes. Both left MFDs automatically revert to ADI display. Emergency gear extension may be required. If the generator will not reset and voltage indication is normal (27 to 29 volts) and GENERATOR light remains on, the likely cause is failure of the undervoltage sensing unit. If the F PRES caution light remains illuminated following a successful generator reset, cycling the GEN switch to OFF and back to RESET normally corrects this condition. Multiple resets are allowed, however, do not hold switch in RESET position. If the generator is off for 30 seconds the fuel boost pumps shutdown and the F PRES caution light illuminates. The emergency flood lights come on if the MIP or CONSOLE lights switches are not set to OFF. The C AUG or F PRES caution lights may also be illuminated. Any delay in placing the throttle to IDLE may result in engine damage.Ģ-26: When an undervoltage condition is sensed, the warning light is illuminated. CAUTION If flight conditions permit, place the throttle to IDLE. Ejection outside the safe ejection envelope may occur if control is lost during a landing attempt. WARNING Sustained high‐frequency, high amplitude control inputs during flight with RAT‐only hydraulic pressure could result in loss of aircraft control. Engine fire may be accompanied by one or more of the following secondary indications: rising EGT, excessive fuel flow, erratic or rough engine operation, visible flames or smoke trail, EGT/RPM and/or OIL PRESS warning light, HYD caution light, TP HOT caution light, abnormal fuel flow, and visible signs of smoke. The first indication of fire is normally illumination of the FIRE warning light (accompanied by audible warning tone). The system is not designed to detect hot bleed air leaks however, in the event a bleed air leak impinges directly on a firewire element, the FIRE warning light may illuminate. If the temperature in the affected bay falls below 300 ☌, the warning lights go out and the detection system is automatically reset resetting may take up to 45 seconds. If the GTS firewire is activated, a similar relay closes and the GTS FIRE warning light is illuminated. If the engine firewire reaches 300 ☌, current flow increases sufficiently to close a relay which supplies a dc signal to illuminate the FIRE warning light. 2-111: The firewire elements are temperature sensitive and their resistance decreases as temperature rises.
